Angle Seat Valve (Threaded, Y-Type)
What is Angle Seat Valve?
Angle Seat Valve are a type of valve that uses compressed air or other gases to actuate a piston or diaphragm that opens or closes a valve. These valves are commonly used in industrial and manufacturing applications to control the flow of liquids, gases and other materials. It can be 2-way or 3-way depending on the number of ports they have. 2-way valves have two ports while 3-way valves have three ports. Ports are used to connect the valve to piping or other equipment in the system. They are known for their fast response times and high flow capacities, making them well-suited for applications that require precise control and fast switching. They’re also relatively simple and easy to maintain, making them a popular choice in many industrial settings.
Working Principle
The valve remains closed (open) by spring force in normal condition. When the piston is driven by compressed air, the valve opens (closes). For the double-acting type, the valve is open and the compressed air is closed.
Angle Seat Valve, Body 316 stainless steel, actuator 304 stainless steel material, Y type valves for pneumatic control purposes. It is manufactured as single-acting type and normally closed. Standard gear manufacturing is BSP gear.
