What is Glass Level Gauges?
Glass Level Gauges work on the principle of seeing water and steam with different brightness than reflex glass as a result of different refraction of light in liquid and gas phases. The liquid fluid appears dark due to the absorption of light, and the vapor appears bright due to the reflection of the light. In this type of level indicators, the separation surface between the two liquids cannot be observed due to the product. It consists of a tube or tube made of a transparent material, such as glass or acrylic, mounted vertically on the side of the container. The liquid level is indicated by the position of the liquid in the tube, which can be seen through the transparent material.
Where is Glass Level Gauges Used?
Glass Level Gauges are widely used in a variety of applications such as industrial processes, chemical storage and water treatment. They are preferred over other level indicators as they provide a clear, accurate and easy-to-read display of the liquid level. They also require relatively low maintenance and can be used in a wide range of temperature and pressure conditions.
Glass Level Gauges are usually calibrated to show the level of liquid in the container by volume or weight. They can be used to continuously monitor the level of the liquid or to trigger an alarm or shut down the system if the level falls outside a predetermined range.
