It consists of a valve body with a hollow chamber, called the float chamber, filled with liquid. The valve body also has an inlet and an outlet, as well as a control element such as a ball or disc attached to the float.<\/p>\n<p>When the fluid enters the float chamber through the inlet port, it lifts the float, which raises the control element and allows the fluid to flow through the outlet port. When the liquid flow decreases, the float and control element go down, closing the outlet opening and preventing the liquid from flowing.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_is_the_Ball_Float_Steam_Trap_Used\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\">Where is the Ball Float Steam Trap Used?<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Float traps are commonly used to regulate steam or water flow in heating and cooling systems and can be used to maintain a constant liquid level in a tank or to prevent excessive pressure in a system. Connection for vertical flow is also possible. Condensate flow direction should be specified at the order stage. The standard factory setting is right-to-left flow.<\/p>\n<p>UKS-70D discharges condensate continuously and is preferred when condensate discharge must be fast. When the system starts to work, the thermostatic air purifier activates and evacuates the air in the system. The following steam closes the air vent, but as soon as the condensate comes to the trap, the float rises and opens the main valve and the condensate is discharged.
