What is a Gearbox Switch Box Butterfly Valve?

Butterfly valves perform the on-off operation by rotating discs made of nickel, stainless or different materials (AISI304,AISI316,AL-BR) fixed around a shaft in the center. It performs the function of starting, slowing down or completely blocking the flow of liquid or gas by compressing the disc around the shaft with rubber or plastic gasket. It is the equipment used to stop, regulate or start the flow, which has a flap that can make a quarter turn around its own axis and a sealing gasket.

What is a reducer?

A reducer is a means of reducing motion energy or power in a mechanical system. It is generally used to reduce or change the rotated power of motors. It can also be used to increase the speed and torque of mechanical systems. Gearboxes consist of a series of gears and shafts and are usually made of metallic materials. Its usage areas are very wide and it can be used in industrial machinery and equipment, vehicles, household appliances and even some toys.

It provides 80% ease of movement in systems with 90° rotation in ball, butterfly and plug valves. It is recommended to be used especially in DN150 – DN300 sizes. It is mandatory to use in diameters of DN350 and above.

What is Switch Box?

Switch Box is a kind of electrical control device used to control the movement of machinery or equipment. It consists of a box containing one or more limit switches, which are mechanical devices designed to detect the presence or absence of an object. It is generally connected to the machine or equipment it controls and is used to activate or deactivate certain functions or movements depending on the location of the object being tracked.
