Ex proof directional valve is a type of valve used to prevent electric arc formation in an installation. This type of valve is used in explosion-prone environments, especially where oil, gas and other combustible materials are present. It has a highly fire resistant structure and has a special design so that flames do not affect the valve. In addition, these valves are used in conjunction with ground wires and other measures to prevent arcing. Ex-proof valves perform the function of directing the compressed air coming from the facility to the sections inside the actuator (on-off).
