What is Flanged Flow Indicator?

A flanged flow gauge is a device used to visually monitor the flow rate of liquids or gases through a pipe or duct. It consists of a flanged fitting mounted on a pipeline and a flange-mounted flow indicator. The flow indicator element generally consists of a small, flat plate or vane mounted at the pivot point. As the fluid or gas flows through the pipeline, it causes the plate or vane to rotate, indicating the flow rate.
