Description

A pneumatically actuated U-PVC ball valve – single-acting is used to control and direct liquid flow in automated control systems. Thanks to its single-acting design, it operates by applying air pressure in only one direction. The return movement is performed automatically by a spring mechanism. This feature ensures that the valve returns to the closed position in the event of system failures.

Inside the valve, there is a ball made of U-PVC material that directs the flow. This ball is rotated 90 degrees by the actuator to move between the open and closed positions. U-PVC material is preferred due to its chemical resistance and lightweight structure. As a result, high performance is achieved at a low cost.

The actuator system is supported by a low-friction piston and pinion mechanism. This allows the valve opening and closing operations to be completed with minimal energy. It operates solely with compressed air, without the need for any electrical connection. Therefore, it offers safe operation in environments with a risk of explosion.
